It’s good to support others dreams because it fulfills that longing desire in your heart to be meaningful here on this earth. It strengthens you. Helping others gives you the necessary skills when it comes time to tackle your own dreams. Don’t fall into the trap that you were just put here on Earth to help others realize their dreams, your dreams are just as important as anyone else’s. You dreams are there to help people in a way that no other dream in the world can.  It is your duty to God and the human race to work on and realize your dreams. Never give up on your dreams because you don’t feel you’re good enough to accomplish them, even if it doesn’t seem like it, someone will come along to help you just like you did for someone else, but don’t make the mistake of sitting around waiting for that person to come. You’ve got to get started on your own, no one else can do that for you.  Never give up on your dreams for fear that people will call them crazy.  Billionaire philanthropist Naveen Jain often says “The crazier people say your dream is, the more you know that you’re onto something really good!” Never give up on your dream because of someone else’s opinion of it. Get out there and get started!

Before you can realize your dream, you must take the first step.  Even a small step forward will help you build momentum that will propel you further than you ever thought possible.  If you don’t know what to do, go find a book that is related to your dream and start reading it. If that doesn’t spark any ideas, write you dream down on a piece of paper. Get a crystal clear vision of what it is you want to accomplish and then start telling people about it.  Don’t make the mistake of keeping your dream all to yourself. Nooooooo! You can’t do that, you’ve got to share. Maybe the person who can help you get on the next step towards realizing  your dream was sitting right next to you all along, but you never told them because you were afraid. What a tragedy that could be. Such a simple mistake that could have easily been avoided.

Is it not a well known fact that you will reap what you have sown?  If you plant an orange seed you’ll get an orange tree. Suppose you made up your mind that you really want to have some fresh orange juice in the future from your own tree. You’ve seen that your neighbors have had success growing orange trees in their front yard so you think you’ll give it a try. You head down to the farmers market and buy yourself a bag of good looking orange seeds.  On your walk back to your car, someone you know sees you carrying a bag of seeds and asks you what you plan on doing with them.  When you tell them you plan on growing you own orange trees, they laugh at you!

They say, “Don’t you know how difficult it is to grow your own orange tree?” or maybe they say, “You might as well just throw those seeds away now, the soil on your lot is no good for growing oranges. ”

You might rebut, “Well my neighbor has had pretty good success with growing them.” and they say, “Well yes, but they’ve been doing that for generations, you don’t know what you’re doing!”

Are you going to let that stop you?  Don’t you think it’d be best to at least plant them and water them and see what happens than to just throw your seeds out? Or would you rather not plant them because you were afraid the person who told you not to might find out and call you stupid? One thing is for certain, if you don’t plant those seeds, an orange tree will never grow. I say go ahead an plant those seeds, water them and take care of them. Come orange season that naysayer will eat his words while you enjoy your fresh orange juice.

[No matter where you are in life or what your dream is, someone will always be there to bring you down or try to plant fear or doubt in your mind.. It’s up to you to stand up and pursue them anyway.]
